The location offers the possibility of performing different activities external to the faculties: cultural, sport, leisure…which permits those who visit to discover Castilla and León.
Castilla Termal Hoteles group started their course in 2004, with the rehabilitation of the 12th century Mudéjar Convent of Sancti Spíritus, one of the seven convents in the municipality of vallisoletano of Olmedo. It was converted into Castilla Termal Balneario de Olmedo, the first four star spa in Castilla and León, whose privileged location became the spa hotel closest to the Spanish capital, and which obtained the official title for the Villa Mudéjar of Olmedo de “Thermal Villa”.
With more than one objective fulfilled in 2010, Castilla Termal Hoteles group, opened Castilla Termal Burgo de Osma, located in the renaissance University of Santa Catalina in the Soriana locality of El Burgo de Osma.
In the summer of 2012, as part of their growth initiative, one of the most historical spas in Spain was taken under new management - Castilla Termal Balneario de Solares, located in the town Solares in Cantabria.
But that is only half of the story! In 2015 Castilla Thermal Spa opened its doors in the best conserved Cistercian monastery in Europe, Valbuena Abbey. This monastery dates back to the twelfth century and is located in the town San Bernardo in Valladolid. Behind its walls, right in the middle of the Golden Mile in the Ribera del Duero region, we can enjoy the Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena, the first five-star spa-hotel in Castilla y León.
These are only the first few links in a hotel chain which is pursuing grand projects in the expansion of its philosophy: to create the perfect blend of history and spa tourism.
