The total solar eclipse of 2026 will be visible on August 12, 2026, and it will be one of the most anticipated astronomical events of the coming years. For a few minutes, the Moon will completely cover the Sun, darkening the sky in broad daylight and creating a unique phenomenon visible from different parts of Spain. It will not occur again in our country for several decades.
The area of greatest visibility will cross much of northern and central Spain, a region where all our hotels are located. From there, this unique phenomenon can be enjoyed in rural surroundings with clear skies, low light pollution, and wide open spaces ideal for observation.
Looking directly at the Sun without protection can cause irreversible eye damage. To observe the eclipse safely, it is essential to use approved glasses with a certified filter (ISO 12312-2), which you will find free of charge in your room. Only during the brief moments of totality, when the Sun is completely covered and the solar corona becomes visible, can they be safely removed.
