The Monks winnery
The Winery of the Monks is the place of origin of the wines of the Ribera del Duero, because the Cistercian monks who occupied the Monastery of Santa María de Valbuena from the 12th century until the 19th century are credited with being the parents' of the Douro wines being the first to bring the strains of France. Enjoy in our winery the best wines and haute cuisine, based on the concepts of slow food and Km 0: Products of the land and season of the highest quality made with a touch of modernity to achieve an unrepeatable culinary experience.

Discover our Converso Wine, the continuation of the legacy of the Cistercian monks who inhabited the walls of the Monastery of Santa Maria de Valbuena.
Converso wine made from grapes specially selected from the monastery's vineyards, aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months. Exclusive wine, with a limited production of 5,500 bottles destined for our customers.
