Due to the abundant mycological production in the region of Pinares and specifically in Navaleno, it was decided to create this specialized center in 2007 in order to assist all fans of mycology, providing personalized attention to qualified professionals in the field and enjoy of your hobby with total security.
The Center has a permanent exhibition on mushrooms, ranging from biology to gastronomy. Through panels, models and audiovisual projections, visitors discover how mushrooms are formed and what their scientific and economic interest is.
One of the most outstanding activities is the mycological routes that are organized during the mushroom season, in which visitors walk through the surrounding pine forests accompanied by a guide and identify the mushrooms they collect.
