Its upwelling temperature is 22ºC. Defined and catalogued as hypothermal water with strong mineralisation, sodium chloride. The Sancti Spiritus Spring has a flow of 1,468,800 litres per day.

Its rich mineral and trace element composition gives it the following properties.

SODIUM CHLORIDE
Thanks to the presence of sodium in its composition, our waters are therapeutically indicated for dermatological, nervous system and locomotor system disorders. They also have an anti-inflammatory effect.

Its application by means of showers, jets, baths and swimming pools, in addition to the above-mentioned indications, increases the defences of the skin and mucous membranes. They are also used for inhalation. They also stimulate our organic, endocrine and metabolic functions.

SULPHATE
The waters of the Sancti Spiritus Spring have an important laxative and diuretic action.

ALKALINE
They have a pH higher than 7, the same as the normal pH of the liquid in our body. However, the water in our homes is generally neutral and, although it is healthy, alkaline water is even more so because it neutralises the excess acidity in our organism.
